Did you know? : At least four inns sponsored public ringing contests at All Saints in the late 18th century: The Ship, The Bush, The Six Bells (in Cross Street) and the Half Moon (in Broad Street).
The sound of the bells was recorded before the restoration in 2004, individually and ringing together.
You can hear the sound of the restored bells being rung at the end of this short recording of their dedication .
